They were great but they were usurped by cell phones.

“breaker breaker one nine, this is Scoutmaster, (Go head Scoutmaster, (Thanks for the break). drag lady, you got a copy, this is Scoutmaster? That is a big 10-4, I will catch you later on the flip flop, we are gone.” Will be 10-7 on the side.”

My daughter when little was strawberry shortcake and she loved talking to the truckers. I really miss them and understand they are still going strong. I want to put a new one and see for myself.

Yes I had one, one nine a copy, would like an eye ball what a laugh I had… I had my CD in my car
and an aerial on the roof.

Sure do. My dad had one too and we all had to have a “handle.” I was Guardian Angel and my stepmother was Sleeping Beauty. His home base tower must have been thirty or forty ft. high. 10/4

10-4 there little lady. I still have the droupy drawers and moon rakers on the roof but the Golden Eagle and the linear are in the rafters of the garage.
CB radio is how I met my husband =)

Sure do remember them! Winter in upstate NY can be hard, and I felt so much better having one in my car. Had a base in our house, too, and we ended up meeting a lot of nice people.

Kind of funny to go from “Blue Jeans” back in ‘78 on my CB, all the way to “Gracie” in ‘08 on my PC!
